HOW ACQUIRED: On January 20, 2020 Chicago Fire FC signed Sparrow to a one-year contract with club options through 2022.

Sparrow is a goalkeeper with experience on the USL level with Real Monarchs SLC from 2016-2018 (31 appearances) and Nashville SC in 2019 (9 appearances). A former third-string 'keeper for RSL in 2017, Sparrow will be competing for the back-up spot behind starter Kenneth Kronholm in 2020.

COLLEGE: At the collegiate level, he started 49 matches in three seasons at Creighton, allowing 32 goals while earning 23 shutouts after playing his freshman season at University of Missouri-Kansas City. In his senior season with Creighton, he led the Blue Jays to the Elite Eight while posting nine shutouts in 23 matches, including one in a Sweet Sixteen victory over North Carolina.

OUTSIDE MLS: Sparrow joined RSL's first team after spending the 2016 and 2017 seasons with the Monarchs. He returned to the Monarchs in 2018 and then transferred to another USL club, Nashville SC, ahead of the 2019 season.
