And the chances it happens in 2015 are good, according to one oddsmaker that labeled the defending champs as MLS Cup favorites on Monday.
The 2014 Supporters’ Shield winners Seattle Sounders and 2014 MLS Cup finalists New England Revolution came in second and third, while DC United and Real Salt Lake rounded out their top five candidates most likely to take MLS Cup. Toronto FC were placed just outside that group, while expansion sides New York City FC and Orlando City were in the middle of the pack.
