You’ve seen the Portland Timbers’ axe photos before – club supporters have been appearing in them since before the team’s 2011 arrival in MLS, rocking their Timbers gear and holding an axe for the pictures that have appeared online, in Providence Park and even across downtown Portland.
The club expanded their campaign to their roster this week, giving their players and their families a chance to take some axe photos of their own. The Timbers released a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot on Wednesday, and, be warned, there’s plenty of cuteness on hand from the kids of Portland players.
For our money, Diego Valeri’s daughter stole the show, totally hijacking her dad’s on-camera interview. Give the video a watch up above.
