The dream continues in Chicago this weekend for more than 400 aspiring young soccer players.
Sueño MLS 2015 – Presented by Allstate Insurance Company – the nationally televised player search, will hold tryouts hosted by the Chicago Fire on May 16-17 at Calumet Park in the Windy City.
While pre-registration for the event is full, players are encouraged to sign up in person for the “walk-up” list starting Saturday at 7:30 am local time. Friends and family of participating players, as well as the general public, are invited to watch the tryouts and enjoy the interactive fan zone presented by the event partners.
Fire players Collin Fernandez and Víctor Pérez, as well as Univision Deportes personality Aly Villegas, are scheduled to make special appearances. In addition, Mexican goalkeeping legend Martin “El Pulpo” Zuñiga will host a free public goalkeeping clinic on Saturday (1pm-2pm local time), followed by an autograph session.
