A club familiar with star power might soon be bringing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his legend to MLS.
According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, Orlando City have set their sights on Ibrahimovic and are hoping to sign him next summer. The Lions have already established contact regarding a possible move, per the report.
Ibrahimovic, 34, is currently on the books at Paris Saint-Germain, but the talented and at times outlandishly outspoken Swedish forward has said on multiple occasions that he would like to play in MLS. In June, he admitted to finding America interesting. A month later, Ibrahimovic said he would like to play in the US.
Orlando City have not shown a lack of ambition during this, their inaugural season in MLS. Not only did they sign Brazilian superstar Kaká before the campaign began, but have been in talks with other big-name players like Mexican international Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez and crafty Brazilian winger Robinho.
