AMSTERDAM – According to his agent, D.C. United defensive handyman Perry Kitchen is currently receiving transfer interest from Belgium, Denmark and Germany.
Kitchen’s rep, Lyle Yorks, told SI.com that the 23-year-old was getting calls from a top-two side in both Belgium's Jupiler League and the Danish Superliga, as well as from multiple Bundesliga clubs.
Kitchen was once invited for a trial at Anderlecht in 2011, but he decided to sign with MLS instead. He also trained with Freiburg after his rookie season. The Indianapolis native, who worked his 150th career contest for United in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Sporting KC, has two goals in nine games this term.
