On the same day that academy product Reggie Cannon was transferred to Europe, his 19-year-old successor and fellow FCD academy alum took his place in the FC Dallas starting lineup.
In a show of just how prolific FC Dallas have been at developing young talent, Bryan Reynolds made his first start of the season at right back and contributed an assist in his team's narrow 3-2 road loss to Minnesota United in Week 11.
Reynolds played the full 90 minutes for FC Dallas and the highlight of his night was his deep overlapping run and cross into the box that found Ricardo Pepi for his team's first goal of the night in the 42nd minute.

Reynolds was signed from the academy in November 2016 but only made his MLS debut on May 19, 2019.
This year he has three appearances to his name and the 122 minutes he's already logged, including the 90 against Minnesota, represent a career season high. He'll be competing with veteran Ryan Hollingshead for the starting right back role. Hollingshead, like Reynolds, can also play in several other positions.
