A first-ever meeting between the Philadelphia Union and Inter Miami CF in the MLS is Back Tournament on Tuesday could go a long way toward determining advancement out of Group A.
The Union defeated Group A favorite NYCFC in their first match July 9, while Inter Miami squandered a second-half lead and fell to Orlando City SC in the first match of a budding Florida rivalry in the tournament's opening match the previous night.

In a season where expectations are sky-high, Philadelphia erased a disappointing Week 1 defeat at FC Dallas to play LAFC to a thrilling 3-3 draw in the last regular season match before play was suspended. Inter Miami are still seeking the club's first-ever win after road defeats to LAFC and D.C. United.
