Orlando City SC winger and noted free spirit Brek Shea became a father on Wednesday, as he and his partner Carling welcomed their daughter, Phoenix, into the world.
As you may recall, Brek and Carling announced their impending arrival with a pretty memorable Instagram post back in August.
The lanky Texan handled Wednesday's big news in more straightforward fashion, retweeting a warm message of congratulations from OCSC's official account:

Shea recently returned to match action for the Lions after missing several weeks due to a groin injury.
