UPDATE, August 12 — 9:10 am ET: Colombia's Deportivo Independiente Medellín announced the transfer of midfielder Andres Ricaurte to FC Dallas in a press release Tuesday night.
FC Dallas have been linked with midfielder Andres Ricaurte, according to reports out of Colombia.
The 28-year-old currently plays for Deportivo Independiente Medellín in his native Colombia, where he's scored five goals in 46 appearances. He's played his entire professional career to this point in Colombia, starting with Rionegro Águilas before stints with Leones and Atlético Huila. His most productive season came in 2016 with Leones in Categoría Primera B, when he scored 10 times in 41 appearances across all competitions.
He's reportedly set for an exit from Independiente Medellín and has also drawn interest in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Turkey and other Colombian clubs before the reported interest from FC Dallas.
