New York City FC vs. D.C. United
YANKEE STADIUM, Bronx, N.Y.
August 13, 2015 (MLS Game #236)
7 pm ET (MLS Live)
New York City FC and D.C. United meet for the first time ever in a critical match for both clubs, when they face off at Yankee Stadium on Thursday evening. NYCFC come into the match off back-to-back losses after their archrival New York Red Bulls completed a season sweep with a 2-0 win Sunday at Red Bull Arena, leaving the Sky Blues four points out of the final playoff position. United have won a season-long three consecutive league games, now sitting atop the Supporters’ Shield race by two points, after holding out for a 1-0 victory at the Montréal Impact last weekend.
