The New England Revolution's search for a first win at Gillette Stadium this season continues Wednesday when Bruce Arena's squad host a Montreal Impact side reduced to 10 men in both of their last two defeats.

The Revs (3W-3L-6D) are coming off a 0-0 home draw against NYCFC, while the Impact (5W-6L-1D) suffered a 4-1 defeat to the Philadelphia Union at Red Bull Arena.

The teams have split a pair of one-goal wins this season with the Impact claiming a 2-1 victory at Stade Olympique in February and the Revs winning 1-0 at the MLS is Back Tournament in July.

They weren't bossed around the field this time around and the Revs pressed Sean Johnson into making seven saves, but neither side managed to find that breakthrough goal and shared the points Saturday afternoon at Gillette. Arena said veteran Lee Nguyen, who made his first start since arriving back in Foxborough, was a positive.

"I thought Lee played well and he’s a good addition to the team," Arena said after the game. "Obviously, that’s a game that can go either way. Both teams had some chances. Obviously, we weren’t able to capitalize on ours. We tried to push the game at the end and get a goal. I think we made one or two mistakes that resulted in some counterattacks for New York City FC as well. But I think, overall, this was a much improved performance for our team than I’ve seen over the last three weeks or so.”

Montreal Impact

A strong start went pear-shaped quickly for the Impact when Romell Quioto was sent off 11 minutes after giving his team an early lead and the Union responded with four unanswered goals to cruise to a 4-1 victory. It was the third straight game the Impact finished the match with 10 men.

"You're one-nil up, you score, I just don't understand the reaction," Henry said of Quioto's elbow to Mark McKenzie's head. "But it is what it is and once again we're going to have to learn and move forward."
