Coming off a huge win over New York City FC, the New England Revolution are looking for their third consecutive road victory when they take on the Montreal Impact Wednesday night at Red Bull Arena.

The Impact (6W-9L-2D) are coming off a 2-1 loss at the Philadelphia Union Sunday, while the Revs (6W-4L-7D), following a 2-1 win at Yankee Stadium, have lost just once in their last six games.

This is the fourth meeting between the Eastern Conference foes this season, with New England coming off a 3-1 victory at Gillette Stadium Sept. 23 after a 1-0 win at the MLS is Back Tournament. The Impact opened the regular season with a 2-1 win at Stade Olympique Feb.29.

Montreal Impact

The Impact couldn't build off an impressive road win over Columbus Crew SC in Week 16, losing to the Union at Subaru Park Sunday. Amar Sejdic struck in the 65th minute, but the goal came after Montreal dug themselves a 2-0 hole. It left Thierry Henry frustrated with his team's struggles in the attacking third and ruing what he called a "missed opportunity."

“We could have gone out, logically I think, with a draw but unfortunately it’s not the case,” Henry said after the match. “Now, going to Columbus and then Philadelphia wasn’t easy. We could have pulled a coup, where four points against the both of them isn’t bad. Now, when you look at the game we played you can say that it was a missed opportunity tonight.”

New England Revolution

What was deemed by some to be a litmus test of a week for the Revolution ended with an emphatic 2-1 win over NYCFC at Yankee Stadium Sunday afternoon. Teal Bunbury set the tone with a goal three minutes after kickoff and Lee Nguyen finished from the penalty spot in the 80th minute to clinch a critical win. It was Nguyen's first goal in his Revs 2.0 stint and the assist to Bunbury made him the first player in New England history with 50 goals and 50 assists.

"It’s a great honor and to be able to do that for one club. That means a lot to me," Nguyen said after the match. "Also credit to the guys I’ve been playing with ‘cause without them, [there's] no way I would’ve been able to do it and so this is a great moment for me personally, but I’m so proud to be able to do 50/50 all in a Revs shirt."
