MONTREAL IMPACT vs. CHICAGO FIRE

- Didier Drogba scored his fourth goal since coming to MLS, and added his first assist, as the Impact extended their undefeated streak to four games – their longest of the season – with a 3-0 win against the New England Revolution on Saturday night at Stade Saputo.
- The Fire suffered their third consecutive defeat in a 1-0 loss to Orlando City SC on Saturday evening at Toyota Park, the final game in charge for head coach Frank Yallop, who was dismissed following the match. Brian Bliss was named as interim head coach.
- The teams are meeting for the third time this season, splitting the first two. Didier Drogba became the first player in MLS history to score a hat trick in his first league start – including the tying and winning goals in a four-minute span in the second half – hauling the Impact back for a 4-3 win Sept. 5 at Stade Saputo. On May 30 at Toyota Park, Harry Shipp, Jeff Larentowicz and Kennedy Igboananike netted goals to lead the Fire to a 3-0 win.
- The first meeting victory was the first for the Fire since Aug. 10, 2013, a 2-1 win at Toyota Park. The Impact had won one of the four matches after (a 1-0 win last Aug. 16 at Stade Saputo), with three draws. The visiting team has never won in the series.
