Two players came so close to going 12-for-12 in Round 3, as they both got 11 predictions correct. They each missed the first player to score in Real Salt Lake-Sporting Kansas City, as both picked Alan Pulido when Johnny Russell was the one who opened the scoring.
Match #1: Orlando City SC vs. Montreal Impact
WHO WILL WIN?
- Orlando City recorded a 3-0 win over the Impact in July 2019, the last meeting between the clubs. That ended a run that saw the Lions collect just one point in six meetings with Montreal, dating back to October 2016. The 3-0 win was also Orlando City’s first-ever clean sheet against Montreal, coming in the 12th meeting between the sides.
- Despite collecting seven points in their three group games, Orlando scored first just once in their three matches.

- The Union have had more success against New England than against any other team in their MLS history, recording 14 wins and 47 points, most against any other club in the competition. Philadelphia is unbeaten in their last five matches against the Revs (W4 D1), including equalling a club record for goals in a single MLS match in a 6-1 thrashing of New England in May 2019.
- Philadelphia’s 1-0 win over New York City FC in their MLS is Back opener is their only clean sheet in their last 18 MLS matches (including playoffs) dating back to July 20, 2019 (2-0 vs Fire). The Union only allowed two goals in the group stage, which is their best three-match defensive spell since May 2019.
- There were only a total of three goals scored in the three matches New England played during the group stage.

- NYCFC just scored just two goals during the group stage, as Ismael Tajouri-Shradi opened the scoring in NYCFC's 1-0 win over Inter Miami.
- Ayo Akinola is tied atop the Golden Boot rankings, after he scored five goals in TFC's first three games.
