Match #1: Orlando City SC vs. Inter Miami CF
WHO WILL WIN?
- Both teams are looking for their first wins of the season, with Miami carrying two losses and Orlando collecting one point after two matches.
- Each team has scored one goal in 2020. Miami took an early lead over D.C. United in Week 2 before falling 2-1. Orlando scored an equalizer through Chris Mueller in Week 2 against Colorado before the Rapids found a winner in the 90th minute.
- These two clubs will meet for the first time at the MLS is Back Tournament, but it will not be the first time the two head coaches have faced off. Oscar Pareja (Orlando) and Diego Alonso (Miami) matched up back in 2017 when Pareja led FC Dallas to the Concacaf Champions League semifinals against Alonso's Pachuca. After winning the first leg at home 2-1, Dallas fell 3-1 in the second leg as Pachuca eventually went on to win the tournament.

Match #2: Atlanta United vs. New York Red Bulls
WHO WILL WIN?
- While Atlanta have yet to beat the Red Bulls in the regular season, the Five Stripes bested RBNY in the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs on their way to winning MLS Cup.
- Atlanta won each of their first two games of the season while the Red Bulls have a win and a draw.
- Every game each of these teams have played in 2020 has seen at least two goals scored. Both teams have scored four goals, tied for the third-highest total in the league.

Match #3: FC Cincinnati vs. Columbus Crew SC
WHO WILL WIN?
- The Hell is Real Derby provided some fireworks last season, with a 2-2 draw kicking off the new MLS rivalry. It was followed by a 3-1 Crew win in Cincinnati, highlighted by a brace from Gyasi Zardes.
- Disappointing results have continued for FC Cincy in 2020, as they started the year with two losses under interim head coach Yoann Damet. Both games saw at least three goals scored. This match will be the first for new head coach Jaap Stam, after he was hired in May.
- Just three goals have been scored in the Crew's two games so far, as they beat a 10-man NYCFC team 1-0 on opening weekend. Week 2 saw Columbus go to Seattle and earn a 1-1 draw.

Match #4: Sporting Kansas City vs. Minnesota United FC
WHO WILL WIN?
- This match features two of the four teams who won each of their first two games of the 2020 season.
- Minnesota are the highest-scoring team of 2020 so far, with eight goals, while Sporting are second with seven goals.
- The Loons scored their opener against Portland in the 51st minute but managed to get off the mark quicker in their second game, as Ike Opara scored just 12 minutes in. Alan Pulido scored each of Sporting's openers, one coming in the 16th minute and the other coming in the 17th.

Match #5: Real Salt Lake vs. Colorado Rapids

- Colorado are one of four teams who started the season with two wins, while RSL are the only team in MLS with two draws.
- RSL have won the last four Rocky Mountain Cups and won both games against Colorado in 2019.
- There was not a goal scored in the first half of either Rapids game. RSL's two games in 2020 saw only one first-half goal, with Freddy Juarez's team conceding an early goal in a 1-1 draw against the New York Red Bulls.

Match #6: LA Galaxy vs. Portland Timbers
WHO WILL WIN?
- The Galaxy have one point through their first two games, drawing on the road in Houston. Portland started the season with two home games, coming away with three points.
- The two teams split the season series in 2019, with each team winning their home games.
- Cristian Pavon scored LA's only goal of 2020 so far, opening the scoring against the Dynamo in the 13th minute. Portland conceded the first goal in their loss against Minnesota, but Diego Valeri scored the lone goal in the match against Nashville in the 12th minute.
