Lunch is on us!
Last week, the Sons of Ben supported a cause off the pitch, buying – and delivering! – lunches for teachers in the Chester Upland School Distict in Pennsylvania. The instructors announced last Wednesday that they would start the school year despite not being guaranteed compensation because of the current budget crisis in the state. The Sons of Ben previously organized a school supply drive for students in the same district.
The Philadelphia Union Supporters Group is no stranger to philanthrophic endeavors. The Sons of Ben run several annual events, like Help Kick Hunger and 'Stache Bash, to raise money and food donations for charities in and around Chester, Pennsylvania, where the MLS club's stadium is located.
City of Brotherly Love, indeed.
