Galaxy set for another White House visit with President Obama

The LA Galaxy have gotten quite familiar with raising the MLS Cup trophy in recent years, and they're also becoming regular houseguests of President Barack Obama as a result.

The 2014 MLS Cup winners are set to visit the White House on Monday alongside the 2014 NHL champions LA Kings, as part of the Commander-in-Chief's traditional salute to the community service efforts of the champion teams in the nation's major professional sports leagues.

The Galaxy and Kings are both owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group, and also made the same trip together in March 2013 after they took top honors in their respective leagues in 2012.

The ceremony honoring the Galaxy and Kings is scheduled to begin at 2 pm ET.
