Manneh among those retained as TFC, 'Caps, Quakes announce moves

Toronto FC, the San Jose Earthquakes, and Vancouver Whitecaps have gotten their offseasons underway, with each announcing a number of roster moves on Tuesday.


TFC and the Whitecaps declared the options they picked up and declined ahead of the 2016 season while the Earthquakes disclosed only the latter.



Options were picked up for …


TORONTO Goalkeeper Quillan Roberts; defenders Mark Bloom, Nick Hagglund, Ashtone Morgan, Josh Williams, Eriq Zavaleta, and Clement Simonin; midfielders Jonathan Osorio, Collen Warner, Daniel Lovitz, Marky Delgado, Chris Mannella; and forward Jordan Hamilton.


VANCOUVER Goalkeepers Marco Carducci and David Ousted; defenders Sam AdekugbeJordan Smith, and Tim Parker; midfielders Gershon Koffie and Nicolás Mezquida; and forwards Erik HurtadoKekuta Manneh, and Darren Mattocks.



Options were declined for …


SJ Goalkeeper Tomas Gomez; defenders Paulo Renato and Jordan Stewart; midfielders Jean-Baptiste Pierazzi and Khari Stephenson; and forward Mike Fucito.


TFC Goalkeepers Joe Bendik and Chris Konopka and midfielders Manny Aparicio and Jackson had their options declined. Additionally, Robbie Findley's contract is set to expire at the end of the year.


VAN Goalkeeper Paolo Tornaghi; defenders Steven BeitashourPa-Modou Kah, and Ethen Sampson; midfielder Andre Lewis and striker Caleb Clarke. In addition, Mauro Rosales and Robert Earnshaw are out of contract


Per MLS rules, the clubs have until Dec. 10 to re-sign any Re-Entry Draft-eligible players.
