Inter Miami CF co-owner and president of soccer operations David Beckham has reached a multi-year ambassadorial agreement with EA SPORTS FIFA, resulting in several in-game activations for FIFA 21 and a special Beckham Edition cover.
Beckham will appear in FIFA 21 as an Ultimate Team icon starting in December, and also as a VOLTA Groundbreaker starting Dec. 15.
“I’m so proud to be returning to EA SPORTS with my FIFA 21 Beckham Edition cover,” Beckham said. “…Excited to be back on the pitch as an icon with some of my old teammates!”
Inter Miami became a playable team when the game was released in October. Now, as well as using their current players, supporters can also have Beckham scoring free-kicks and making plays.
