Fifth time's the charm for Frank Lampard, it seems.
The New York City FC midfielder opened his MLS account on Wednesday in scoring a first-half goal against Toronto FC at Yankee Stadium to give his side the lead.
In Lampard's fifth appearance for NYCFC, he finished off a sequence of play in which Andrea Pirlo sent a pass over the top to defender RJ Allen, who then sent a pass back to Lampard lurking at the top of the box. The Englishman took down the ball and blasted it to the goal, with Patrick Mullins on the end of the ball waiting to tap it in if necessary.
Check out the goal for yourself above -- it's the kind of strike that has become practically automatic for Lampard in recent seasons.
