Voting for the 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star game is underway. Can’t decide on who to vote for? Don’t worry, MLSsoccer.com is here to help.
Here are five top goalkeepers for your consideration.
Bill Hamid | D.C. United
The 2014 Goalkeeper of the Year may be even better in 2015. He has helped D.C. United to first place in the Eastern Conference with his incredible shot-stopping ability and has saved 76.74 percent of the shots taken against him inside the box, the highest percentage of the league.
Stefan Frei | Seattle
Frei has been the backbone of the stingiest defense in the league, as the Sounders have conceded just 10 goals so far this season. He already has seven clean sheets in 2015, well on his way to breaking his career-high of nine set last season. You already know all that if Frei's on your fantasy team; the Sounders 'keeper has the most points of any goalkeeper in the league this year.
David Ousted | Vancouver
After leading the league with 13 clean sheets in 2014, Vancouver's Danish 'keeper has picked up right where he left off this season. The Whitecaps backstop already has six shutouts this year, and has made a couple of stops that will undoubtedly be in contention for Save of the Year come the end of the season.
Luis Robles | NY Red Bulls
The Red Bulls goalkeeper has really come into his own in his fourth MLS season. The 31-year-old has made plenty of fantastic saves, but its his leadership in the back that has helped an inexperienced backline become one of the top units in the league.
Tyler Deric | Houston
The Houston Dynamo’s first Homegrown Player finally got his chance in 2015 and has proven his worth over and over again so far this season. He's had a huge knack for fantastic stops, winning Save of the Week three weeks in a row early in the season.
