FC Dallas has gone back to the well that is the Colombian winger.
On Friday the team signed another one in Michael Barrios, who has spent the last four seasons with Uniautonoma. Since 2011, the creative midfielder has made 136 appearances totaling 10,091 minutes for Uniautonoma. He scored 35 goals in that time, 32 of which came since 2012.
“Despite being only 23 years old, Michael has a lot of experience in the first division in Colombia,” FC Dallas head coach Oscar Pareja said in a club statement. “He is a player that we know can come in and help us offensively right away. He has the speed and talent to be a great player in this league.”

The 23-year-old can be considered a replacement for Andres Escobar, a Colombian winger who spent the 2014 season on loan in Frisco. Barrios will compete for time on the wing with fellow countryman Fabian Castillo, 2014 Rookie of the Year Tesho Akindele, Ryan Hollingshead, and Coy Craft.
