The Desert Diamond Cup is back for its fourth year in 2015, and MLSsoccer.com has you covered from start to finish, showcasing YouTube streams of all 12 games live from Tucson, Ariz.
Five MLS teams will play at the tournament, with Supporters’ Shield winners Seattle Sounders FC, last year’s MLS Cup finalist New England Revolution, 2013 MLS Cup foes Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake and the Colorado Rapids joining hosts FC Tucson in Arizona.
The tournament will kick on Wednesday, Feb. 18 and conclude on Saturday, Feb. 28, less than a week prior to the scheduled start of the MLS season. Each team will play four games, contesting three already scheduled matches before being seeded for a fifth-place, third-place or championship game on Feb. 28. All games will be played at the brand new North Kino Sports Complex.
There will be a new twist on the in-game atmosphere at this year’s Desert Diamond Cup, as FC Tucson will host overlapping games at Kino North Stadium and North Grandstand before a third showcase match caps the day’s action at Kino North Stadium.
