The Colorado Rapids and San Jose Earthquakes renew their long-held acquaintances when the Western Conference sides face off on Viernes de Fútbol Friday evening at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The Rapids return home following a coast-to-coast road trip where they took a pair of draws, last a 1-1 result at the LA Galaxy last weekend. The Quakes are concluding a week-long road swing where they’ve played three games, gaining results in the first two after their 1-0 defeat of the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium on Tuesday evening.
