The Chicago Fire will have a chance to host their fifth US Open Cup Final this fall, with the four-time tournament champions winning Wednesday's draw to determine the potential host for the 2015 final.
Chicago took home top priority in US Soccer's draw, and will host the final on Sept. 29 or 30 if they beat the Philadelphia Union at PPL Park in next Wednesday’s USOC semifinal. Real Salt Lake nabbed the second slot, the Union received the third and Sporting Kansas City was slotted fourth.
In order to determine hosting rights for the final, US Soccer officials placed individual cards containing the names of all four semifinalists into separate envelopes, shuffled them and then selected at random. The hosting priority was determined in chronological order, with the Fire picked first and slotted in the first spot, RSL drawn second and placed second, Philadelphia selected third and slotted third and SKC picked and slotted fourth.

POTENTIAL USOC FINAL HOSTING SCENARIOS:
Chicago Fire
- Will host the final if they beat the Philadelphia Union, regardless of the outcome of the Sporting Kansas City-Real Salt Lake semifinal
Real Salt Lake
- Will host the final if they beat Sporting Kansas City AND the Philadelphia Union beat the Chicago Fire
- Will travel to Chicago for the final if they beat Sporting Kansas City AND the Fire beat the Union
Philadelphia Union
- Will host the final if they beat the Chicago Fire AND Sporting Kansas City beat Real Salt Lake
- Will travel to Salt Lake for the final if they beat Chicago AND RSL beats SKC
Sporting Kansas City
- Will play the final on the road if they beat Real Salt Lake, regardless of the outcome of the Philadelphia Union-Chicago Fire semifinal
