AMSTERDAM – Bodo/Glimt winger Danny Cruz bagged a picturesque first Tippeligaen goal on Wednesday night to help the cellar dwellers earn a 1-1 draw away to Alex DeJohn's IK Start.

The on-loan Philadelphia Union man opened the scoring on six minutes with a stunning inside-out toe poke shot from just outside the Start area. After Glimt right back Zarek Valentin got loose on the right flank overlap, he picked out Cruz in the right channel and his compatriot did the rest of the work in style.

Cruz would eventually depart in the 58th minute, while both DeJohn and Valentin went the full 90 for their respective sides. The result nudged Start up to 12th place, while also snapping a three-game Glimt losing slide.

Elsewhere, Cole Grossman worked a fine 75-minute shift as Bob Bradley's Stabaek showed no signs of slowing their roll in a 4-0 humbling of guests Sandefjord.

Grossman made a long-distance bid for his third goal of the season in the ninth minute, only to have his goal-bound drive deflect out for a corner off of a Sandefjord defender. Thanks to their sixth straight shutout victory in league play, Stabaek moved level on points with leaders Rosenborg.

A.J. Soares ably marshaled the backline as Viking scored a 2-0 win at FK Haugesund. Courtesy of their third win from a four-match unbeaten run, the Dark Blues jumped two places to seventh.
